The Middle is Where Miracles Form

It's often said that the darkest hour is just before the dawn. When you're stuck in “the middle” — the place between praying for a miracle and seeing it manifest — it’s easy to feel worn out and discouraged. But remember, it's precisely in this middle ground of struggle and waiting that the roots of faith grow deep.

📖 Hebrews 12:1–2 (NIV) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”

✅ Key Point: In the middle, we learn perseverance. It’s where we deepen our trust and fix our gaze on the One who perfects our faith.

📖 James 1:2–4 (ESV) “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

✅ Key Point: Trials aren't just obstacles; they're opportunities for spiritual growth and for God to work His miracles in our lives.

💡 Application: Identify the ‘middle’ areas of your life and reflect on how God might be using them to grow your faith. Write down one way you can actively persevere this week, whether through prayer, studying scripture, or seeking community support.

🙏 Prayer: Lord, as I find myself in the ‘middle,’ grant me perseverance and the wisdom to see this season as one of growth and preparation. Keep my eyes focused on You, the pioneer and perfecter of my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
